From pioneering the development of the first ever milk bank in the Philippines, Makati City also offers other health programs and services that marks it worthy of this recognition.
Popularly know among its populace as the "Yellow Card", the city won the DUbai International Best Practices Award. THis is a joint project of the United Nations Human Settlement Program (UN-HABITAT) and the municipality of dubai.
